Tournament
Rules
- Teams not present for their game will automatically lose and gain no
points. Their opponents will be awarded the average points earned over
other rounds.
- There is 5 mins between each round. This is to be used for player setup/button
config. Players not ready at the start of the round will have to join
late.
Warcraft
III (first 3 weeks)
- All games will last for 55 mins. If one team has not been totally destroyed
before this time, the team with the highest score will be declared the
winner.
- After each game, total scores are recorded. The winning team gets a
point. The two top and two bottom teams will play each other in the last
round in week three. In the case of teams with the same number of points,
the total scores from each round will be used to calculate the top and
bottom teams.
- Teams may choose to play as the same race, random or leave it to individual
team members to pick their own race.
Maps played on will be random 8-player (or more) maps.
- Shared unit
control must be turned on.
Unreal
Tournament (held in the last week)
- UT 2003 is not released until the end of September so we are playing
Unreal Tournament.
- All games will last for 15 mins. The winning team is the one with the
most frags.
- After each game, total frags for each team are recorded. The two top
and two bottom teams will play each other in the last round in week three.
- Levels will be team maps (but not not assault).
