Week 1,
August 19th
After much hype, round one established the gamers from the geeks.
It was soon evident that the Goat-blowers and Microforte teams were forces
to be reckoned with. Matt's mates were unlucky enough to be up against
both these teams and were annihilated. Julian's trash talk didn't help
his team's (Crusaders) crushing defeats at the hands of the Goats and
C.O.T.P. Front-side Bus struggled in the first game against a ruthless
MF team but got their act together against C.O.T.P.
Week 2,
August 26th
The Goat-blowers proved their dominance this week by defeating both
the C.O.T.P. and Microforte team. The Goats vs MF was possibly an early
version of the grand final match. Crusaders yet again suffered two losses
and have yet to get a point, currently beating C.O.T.P. to the wooden
spoon. C.O.T.P. also proved that alcohol and Warcraft III doesn't prove
a winning combination. The Most Improved Award goes to Matt's Mates who
won both their games.
With one more game to be played before the final, the week three rounds
have been slightly altered in anticipation of the probable grand finalists
and wooden spooners to ensure all teams get two matches. It is anticipated
that the final finalists will be Goat blowers and Microforte, and the
Wooden spooners Crusaders and C.O.T.P.

Week
3, September 3rd
After a preliminary match for each team which determined the rankings,
the finals were played. The battle for third place saw the Front-Side
Bus team run-over Matt's Mates. Battle for last place saw the point-less
Crusaders learn from their mistakes and overcome the Children of the Phoniex.
At last, the Grand Final. The much anticipated match between the two strongest
teams in the comp. The Goat-Blowers were coming off five wins in a row
and Microforte were reknown for the demolition of their opponents. After
a furious battle, Microforte were declared the winners.
